Royal Hobart Golf Club is proud to announce that the 2026 Junior Scholarship recipient is Baxter Armstrong.
Over the past 12 months, Baxter has demonstrated outstanding commitment to the game of golf and to Royal Hobart Golf Club, representing the Club across a wide range of elite competitions, including:
- Division 1 and Division 2 Pennant
- Tasmanian High Performance Squad
- North v South Junior
- Thyne Tophie
- Tasmanian Junior Amateur
- Tasmanian Junior Masters
- Victorian Junior Open
- Victorian Junior Amateur
In addition to his competitive achievements, Baxter has consistently displayed strong leadership and teamwork while representing Royal Hobart, embodying the values of our Club both on and off the course.
Baxter also maintains a strong focus on his education over the coming 12 months, demonstrating a balanced approach to both academic and sporting development.
The Junior Scholarship funding will be used to support travel to major tournaments, allowing Baxter to further develop his skills in larger competitive fields under the guidance of the High Performance Program.
