Royal Hobart Golf Club hosted members from HMAS Choules on Sunday 12th February in the annual Frank Walton Memorial Challenge Cup held over the Regatta Day weekend.  Following a lunch at the club the two teams of nine players did battle in a three person ambrose stoke event.  The Navy team led by RHGC member CPO Darren Wheat got off to a great start posting a very credible 64 off the stick for a 60 nett, the best score on the day.  However, RHGC managed to win the cup for the second year in a row with an aggregate gross of 198.6, beating the Navy by 10.7 strokes.  Over a few beers at the end of the day everyone agreed it was another great day of golf and we all look forward to the match next year.
